Wish I had a better picture of this. It was impossible for me to get the whole scene in this space with my limited picture-taking ability. Anyone sitting on the potty in this guest bathroom gets to look through the “marble” encased door, out onto a veranda, and onto a beautiful Mediteranean villa. Doesn’t the drape look real?

Chase Rolison’s bedroom and adjacent bath were decorated by her mom, Tionne Watkins (T-Boz of TLC). No detail was left unattended in this suite with a princess castle theme. Tionne was so pleased with the room, she had us paint the children’s boutique she opened in Houston, Texas, named after her daughter–Chase’s Closet–with a similar theme.

Palm Tree Mural in Houma, Louisiana

My brother in law started this mural in his home in Houma, Louisiana, then chickened out of finishing it. He penciled in the pediment and started painting it. I finished it. I’d like to say I saved his marriage, but probably not.

See this crown molding? Well, it’s not crown molding. I painted the wall to look like crown molding. Even I was surprised how real it looked! To acheive this optical illusion, the drywall has to be perfectly flat. If a level rocks, even just a little, it won’t look real.

The Smalley’s, homeowners of this lovely home in Big Canoe, Georgia, wanted to maintain the woodsy feel of their mountain resort home. This house was featured in the Big Canoe Tour of Homes. (Ray Smalley makes the best coffee in north Georgia!)

The owner of this home wanted a beach in their little powder room. Doesn’t the drapery and fringe look real? It became a lovely spot to sit a while.
